AI consulting: audits, adoption roadmaps, advisory

Matas Beniušis advises companies on AI adoption: assesses processes, builds a prioritised plan, and advises while you implement with your own team or provider.

No pitch. A diagnostic conversation. Oopsify: a chat with an AI, no signup, a report by email.

The problem you arrive with

You receive AI proposals from vendors and from your own people, and have no way to compare which ones are worth the money.

You have your own developers or an IT provider who can build, but nobody has assessed what to build first and how to measure the benefit.

You want a second opinion before signing a contract, or a plan you can carry out without me.

What you get

  • A process assessment: where the most manual work is, where errors repeat, how much time it costs
  • A prioritised plan: what to automate first, what to postpone, what not to do, with reasoning
  • For each priority: a brief on what the solution will do, which data it needs, how you will measure it
  • Advisory during implementation: review of vendor proposals, architecture checks, evaluation of pilots

How it runs on the method

This service uses these stages of the method, in this order:

Assessment and priorities in full; the pilot optionally, when a vendor's or your team's prototype needs checking; handover as a plan for the team.

What working together looks like

  1. Call

30 minutes on your situation. We agree whether an assessment is needed or a single consultation is enough.

  2. Assessment and priorities

I talk to the people who run the processes, review the systems, and build a prioritised plan with reasoning.

  3. Presentation

I present the plan to leadership. I answer the question of where to start and what not to do.

  4. Advisory during implementation

If you build yourselves or with a provider, I review proposals, architecture and pilot results.

Who on your side is involved

  • The manager: takes part in the call, the priorities and the presentation.
  • The people who run the processes: take part in the assessment.
  • Your developers or provider: take part in the advisory stage.
[Needs data] Q8: duration

Start with the free audit

The first and lowest-risk step is Oopsify, my own product: a 10-minute chat with an AI about how your work runs, no signup and no credit card. The AI looks at your business, including your website, and sends a personalised report by email on what is worth automating.

The audit is free, so there is nothing to credit against later work. Afterwards we go through the report on a short call and I explain what is possible. If you want to continue, the work runs on the method from there: the assessment is done, we move to priorities.

The audit only asks general questions about your workflow: no passwords, no sensitive data. Your information is not shared with anyone.

Ongoing advisory

If you need someone who periodically reviews AI decisions and advises leadership, this can be arranged as an ongoing service.

[Needs data] Q11: whether a retainer or fractional head-of-AI role is offered. If yes: scope, days per month, price band.

Proof

[Needs data] Q5: one real example for this service (client or sector, situation, what was done, measured result). Nothing is shown without permission to publish.

Who it is for

A fit if

  • you have someone to build, but need to assess what and in which order
  • you want a second opinion on a vendor's proposal
  • you want a plan you can carry out without me

Not a fit if

  • you want someone to build the system; that is what the solutions service is for
  • you want confirmation of a decision already made, not an assessment

What it costs

[Needs data] Q8: a “from” price or range in EUR and what drives it. If prices are not published: a factual sentence about the pricing model (fixed fee or time-based) and typical bands.

Questions

Why not hire our own person?

Hire if you have a full day of work every day and know what you are looking for. Consulting fits when you need to assess and plan before hiring, or when your developers need a second opinion rather than another headcount.

Is the audit credited against later work?

The Oopsify audit is free, so there is nothing to credit. Its output is a report we go through on a short call; if we continue, it becomes the basis of the assessment stage.

Can you review a vendor's proposal?

Yes. I review what is proposed, whether it fits the process, which data it needs, where the code and access will end up, and how you will measure the benefit. I tell you what to ask the vendor before signing.

How much does it cost?

The price depends on the number of processes and whether advisory during implementation is needed. You get a clear quote before any work starts.

Updated

Let's talk about where the most manual work is in your business.

A 30-minute call. You show me how the process runs today. I tell you what I would automate first and what I would leave alone.

No pitch. A diagnostic conversation. Oopsify: a chat with an AI, no signup, a report by email.
